Glad to see you now like it The producers have said that they don't want it to go on and on. If ABC wants them to go further than what was intended, they have said they'll walk. This is really a first for US TV, to have a series that has an end...that the producers are looking at a 5 season...maybe 6 and that's it, is pretty rare, seeing as with this type of show, you could let it go on and on.

Although I would like to see it go on forever, I am glad they are deciding to keep it to the story.

I also wonder how they are going to go about it for non US. We are getting 2 "pods"...one straight 6 week episode run. FOllowed by another 13 weeks of a break. Then back for another 17 straight, I believe. That 13 week break is going to be crazy!

That's the point. They are taking notes and going lengths to make this series unique AND not fall into the traps that Twin Peaks did (not having a story beyond the murder) or X-Files (taking the story way out there with no end).

I already have a guess as to what this might be, and yeah it will change things a lot. The series conclusion of last season is going to have a major effect of the castaways...and some are going to come out from the background and start taking charge.

Funnily enough, when I saw the first episode I was like "What The Hell" but then I watched it again on Cable (It is repeated on Cable TV) and I was hooked. Though I wanna slap that Jack dude.....He is like way too far up his own ass
