Step one to eradicating milk out of my diet

So, I have high blood pressure. Like, really high....185 over 117 off my medicine kind of high. I'm trying to make some healthy changes to my diet, one step at a time. Yesterday, while food shopping, I decided to buy Silk Light instead of my normal 2% milk.

I have to say, it's not bad at all!!! I was expecting it to be some vile, barf inducing drink, but I think I can work with this stuff!

woot!

I like all of the Silk products and they do not use GM soybeans- so they say...

I hope you can bring your BP down- watch the salt also- that should help too..

it'll be good for your kids as well, but you will need calcium in your diet.
can you get some exersize besides destroying public restrooms?

I buy the calcium enriched orange juice.

And actually, my son wants to join the local boxing gym, so I've been thinking about going with him to just get some cardio exercise, not to get hit in the face, I don't like that too much.

Just drink soy.

Regular, 2%, and skim will cuase mucus to form in your digestive tract and your bloodstream. And with as much as you drink, you really want to look at minimizing stuff like that. shrug

I'm allergic to soy, but I don't drink that much milk. And when I do, it's always skim. shrug
