On my trip to Europe, I saw several episodes of Arrested Development on the plane. I laughed all the way through them. I knew it was a good show when it was on, but never watched. We loved it so much, we had to get the 1st season DVD. Truly a GEM of a show. If you like Curb your enthusiasm or Seinfeld, this would be up your alley. I am not sure if I have a favorite character...they are all very very special.

Anyone else a fan or late blooming fan to this show?

I love it! There are so many subtleties, but I have to say that the 2 Lucilles are sooo funny

huge fan here! have all 3 seasons. the show was just too genius for most audiences who want fat comedian with hot housewife crap...

i miss it soooo much.

i watched it when it first came out. i really like it but i could never keep track of when it was aired so i missed alot of episodes. but i'd definitely get the dvd.

I like Derrick from Silver Spoons as the straight man.

Gob (COME ON!!) and Jeffrey Tambor are excellent, too.

I love the lines they come up with that have meaning other than what they mean. "I can blow myself" - Tobias or "I'll sleep with my daughter and you can sleep with my husband" - Lindsay to George Michael.

My favorite line in all three seasons might be when Michael suggested his mom invite a date to spend time with her at the family cabin. She then asked something along the lines like 'who am I going to find to go inside that musty old claptrap?' Michael just looked at her blankly for a few seconds and then replied "Oh, you mean the cabin!"
