Ever since starting my new job in mid-June, I've been taking the bus to and from work. This morning I sat near the front of the bus and the most beautiful woman I have ever seen on this bus route sat next to me. Not only that, but the bus was pretty packed and we were kinda squished together so we were in constant physical contact the entire trip into work.

Problem is that she's married. Oh, and so am I.

Any good bus stories out there?

I rode Greyhound from florida to jersey once when I was younger.

I once was late for the bus I usually take, so I had to get on the next one. It was the special-ed bus. I think I probably fit right in.

I took 4 bus trips a day my whole college experience...it was horrible...I hate the bus...they never show on time and there is always and I mean ALWAYS some crazy ass people on the bus causing drama. Fuck the bus.

I used to sing this song in my head on the platform everyday just to keep me sane. I'm not sure it worked...

I had to go to the hospital I didn't beat them in return, I was 10, they were about 15/16. Karma got the best of them, 1 of them is now dead, the others probably in prison or still on the same council estate collecting dole money.

i take the bus all the time...i usually take the train to and from work, but in winter i take the bus because it's a shorter walk, even if the bus takes longer.

no crazy incidents so far. one day i spotted the guy who plays stu the meatman on strangers with candy on the bus. that's about as crazy as it gets, i'm afraid.

Be careful....Anx rode the bus, and his doppleganger stole his image for a movie!

I take the bus pretty often, yet I don't have any special stories to tell.

i have seen both

if i've got a bus pass (which i do most of the time), i always ride the bus around the city on the weekend or on a day off of work. i've got a few bus riding stories...gimme time to think of a couple.

okay, i just thought of my first bus story...this happened within my first year of living in minneapolis:

i was riding the #21 bus down lake street towards uptown. i was sitting close to the front of the bus, nearby the driver. the friggin driver was just riding down lake, half-driving and half-reading.

i shit you not, she had a half-folded section from the star tribune up against the steering wheel and was reading it while she drove a bus chock-full of passengers.

she was thisclose to rear-ending a parked car, but looked up from her reading to see where she was going and swerved outta the way at like the last minute.

Dont u hate it when u get on a packed bus with people standing at the front, and no fucker moves back. Then the driver shouts "could u please move down the bus"


One time, the bus driver got so annoyed with this woman who wouldn't move down, he shouted "for the fucking last time, PLEASE move down the FUCKIN' bus". Haha, the look on her face. Priceless


Also, some people seem to prefer to stand up, then sit at the back of the bus. Say i would get on late, and people are standing at the front, u'd assume there are no spaces, but actually, there are on the back seat. Its like people are scared to go to the back. So i have to push passed them to get to the seats.
