 Obviously done to create hype for the movie in 2008, but I think this is probably a good thing. Some of the special effects shots were either reused to death or just plain awful. I have no qualms with the transporter or hand-phaser effects, though. | |

I remember seeing the CGI they did for the DS9 episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" when it originally aired, and I was speechless at how cool the original Constitution class Enterprise looked. Yeah, this should be a good thing. | |
