Bay Area Orgers Come Ridicule My Show! I'm playing The Bistro at B Street & Main in Hayward CA on Friday night 9:00-12:00.
My band does your standard variety classic rock, 50's to the aughts. The Bistro serves a good variety of microbrews and wine, but not hard alcohol. I'll be the one in the middle playing guitar & singing. Come out and say hi, then go dancing at Club Rumors up the street--drag welcome. My Legacy

Oh you know I would but I'm not in the Bay Area until early October.
You know I'd heckle you if I could though. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Man. Wish I could check you out, but I live all the way up in Santa Rosa and am beyond broke at the moment. Announce your next shindig and I should be able to make it! I spend most of my weekends in the Bay as it is. Good luck. Oh shit, my hat done fell off

You know I'd heckle you if I could though. That's sweet. Did you know people still yell out "Skynrd!!" and "AC/DC!!" to cover bands? My Legacy

We did Sweet Home Alabama for a while just to shut people up, but I really felt like an idiot doing it. I never really wanted to be in a cover band, and now I have to adjust to doing songs that are a bit more obvious than I might have chosen. The great thing about it is that I get to play for 3 hours compared to bands doing their own material who get about 40 minutes. Also the songs are proven. We'll throw one of mine in as well, though. I can handle them, and the drummer can, but the bass player & other guitar player can't fake it that well. My Legacy

The other guitar player is a bit reluctant, I can tell, so the songs I write for the band are kind of modeled after Prince. That way I sneak him in. What Prince song should we do? I want to do more danceable stuff. The falsetto limits us, though. My Legacy

How long do you have? I won't be there that long this time. Traveling with the family to visit my sister in S.F. So only for about 3 days. We could totally have hung out if I were coming alone and had more time. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
