someone who works for me is going into rehab. she's alcoholic. I don't think she's hit bottom yet. when this happened a couple of months ago, she was supposed to go into rehab for 21 days. she cancelled it, saying she could handle it. so my dad (we work together) took her back, cause he felt pity on her.
this time, she went drinking at her daughter's invitation (c'mon out mom, it'll be fun...the daughter's an idiot but that's another story) blacked out, and woke up in the hospital with a second degree burn on her leg (as if the exhaust pipe from a motorcycle came in contact with the flesh of her calf)...
I said to pops she's not welcome back. she won't learn and go for help until she hits bottom. we have to fire her. she'll never learn
today I'm told he spoke to her, and she's going for rehab, and then she'll come back to work.
I'm so g**damn tired of expressing my feelings and having them ignored. this is one reason why we're selling the business.
thanks for listening
