REALLY?

He comes across as an overcompensating BUSTER.

The show is funny, that's all, it cracks me up.

I can agree with that. Especially those guys that call up to talk "smack" who you can tell practiced it for hours before they went on. Rehearsed smack is an oxymoron.

It's basically a "verbal email". disbelief
If I was the host i'd interrupt.
Then ask them a question right in the middle of their "prepared speech" and listen to them go deer in the headlights on national radio.

That's why they were out of line for banning the guy that had his take on tape. He was just an innovator.
Where he messed up was not having a tape player with soft-touch controls. cool

terry gross, i guess. i'm not big into radio, nor do i subscribe to the whole pundit puppet show thing. terry gross just seems like a nerdy little librarian lady who is easily amused by smart people. i like her. good times.

My experience with talk-radio started when driving home from gigs.
Music was the last thing I wanted to hear so I started scanning the dial...

...Art Bell is who I found. What a great show. Too bad he's not on much anymore.

I lose way too much sleep listening to Coast to Coast, Art is the best, I wish he was on more too.

No, she's all over the country, but I wouldn't really call her a talk show host. More like a mutant DJ. She has long monologues about love and plays sappy songs that are supposed to be inspirational. barf
You should be very glad you haven't been subjected to hearing her.
Stick with George Noory. cool

lol Thanks for the warning. Sounds like one of those phony über-sensitive types.

George Noory is on a little late for me now.
If i'm still in the car i'll switch between him and Bernie Ward on KGO.
