You know I really do have respect for anyone that works in a public school, but today I seriously wanted to smack some people (I don't advocate violence, but sometimes it seems to be warranted). Today the school buses just totally left my son and alot of other middle schoolers at school and no one in the school seemed to care that these children were left by the bus and they could not give a good reason why it happened. Their excuse was that there were too many kids on one bus so there were two buses and the driver still left these kids at school. I really just felt like snatching some folks across the desk . Ever had any public school nightmares?

What do you mean "left" there? Until what time?

I got "left" at school all the time because I was late for the ONE bus route designed to transport me.

Uh, wow! What a system. Like you mean, they LEFT kids there cuz there was no room on the bus!?!?!??!!??!?!?!?! Or cuz they MISSED the bus?

They sent a second bus and that bus still left the children-the kids were not told about the second bus. Therefore, they were left at school and had to make other arrangements for transportation.

My school bus had a normal amount of kids assigned to the bus so it was never too full.

My point exactly! Their transportation department did not make the necessary provisions for the amount of children that actually rode that particular bus. You know people can say what they want, but if it happened to their child they'd be pissed.

i have two boys attending middle school this year, and i am amazed that they must leave for school at 6:40 am. in december, the sun doesn't even come up til 7:30. poor boys
