I still have my Barbies  No offense to Ken Doll lovers, but I thought he was the most useless doll ever.....I mean c'mon plastic hair.  The male dolls have life like hair now, but when I was little he had plastic hair.  I was thinking to myself when my Mama got me a male doll to go along with my Barbies.....what am I gonna do with this? They are pretty creepy..my students say I look like the redhead one... I don't see it...but my girls seem pretty obsessed with those dolls and it's scary to me.... I guess when they say I remind them of the dolls it's their way of geiving me a compliment.
When I was a kid I loved Barbie...but I loved She Ra more...shewas hot but atleast she kicked ass and wasn't worried about boys all the time.  In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |
