Man Sends Porn Pictures Of Ex-Wife By Associated Press
Thu Aug 24, 4:32 PM CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - A southeast Missouri man will go to jail for breaking into his ex-wife's e-mail and sending pornographic pictures of her to her relatives. Alfred Seals, 47, of Cape Girardeau, pleaded guilty Wednesday to misdemeanor tampering with computer data, and was sentenced to 20 days in jail. Seals gained access to his wife's e-mail account without her consent, then e-mailed the woman's family a Web site link and message stating, "something nice to see," according to a probable-cause statement. The link took users to a Web site that contained several pornographic pictures Seals took of the woman when they were married. The woman immediately suspected her ex-husband and went to police. Not sure why people can't honor and appreciate what they did have together...no need to diminish it or cheapen it--or in this case completely destroy it. I personally believe it's often due to a combination of factors, one being the pervasive attitude in today's society that so much in life, including relationships, is disposable and easily replaced. Mutual respect and shared veneration for the partnership seems to enter into the equation less and less; and that, added to the modern technology now available enabling public humiliation en masse and requiring relatively little effort, conspires to create scenarios like the one described above. | |
