As for the laptop... er, I'm still trying to figure it out. Today, I managed to charge the battery and hope to be online in the next few days. Instead of running away from it, I did try reading the manual but they assume you know what everything is. I need ABC, step-by-step, instructions but I'll get there eventually.

I know this is naughty but my ex-housemate came over the other week to test his laptop at our's. (In the old house, he could pick up a wirless signal, free of charge). Amazingly, it worked at our's as well - so I thought I'd be online by now - but I'm obviously not doing something right. Otherwise, I'll just get broadband and chocks away!

This means you can answer my orgnotes in a timely fashion

Apart from the fact I'll be able to post outside of work - which is full of distractions - and get internet access whenever, I want to use it to update my cv, start searching for new jobs, etc.. (Confession: I think it's the lure of Prince Org that takes me to work, sometimes, as opposed to my actual job). It's about time I got off my ass that way. So... lots to do.
