After months and months and months of boring the pants off my friends and fellow Orgers, I have finally got around to buying myself a laptop. Woohoo!!!

I don't know how long I've been talking about this - I'm sure they weren't even invented when I started. But, typical technophobe that I am, I am sitting in an Internet Cafe typing this whilst - two minutes up the road - my laptop is all ready and raring to go. I'm sure I'll work out how to switch it on at some point.

But now I'll be able to see pictures, avatars, (change mine, even), the Gallery , etc etc - I feel like I'm a proper Orger, now. Watch out for my 3am drunken ramblings when I get in from a night out.

I think I got quite a good deal - £550 for a Compaq laptop, 80GB, 1024MB and I bought a webcam to go with it. I also got a free package with it including a carry case, USB storage device, DVDRs, a mouse and a Norton Antivirus pack. All of that is complete Klingon to me but I'm picking up a scanner/printer/photocopier to go with it in the week. Ooh, I feel all techno.

So hey hey hey - I'm so happy; this is a purchase I've been meaning to get for ages! Now all I need is an Ipod, recordable dvd player and a dog and that's sorted.

And I don't know what the saleswoman thinks I'll be getting up to. As I left, she looked at me and said "That'll keep you out of mischief". What can she mean?? .

Honestly, I've got a new mobile phone which is still in its' box and been left un-used for at least a month. I'm rubbish. But I will be learning how to use this thing. It's my new project.

By the way, to anyone who knows this - how do you copy & paste on a laptop? Can you do it using a mouse, as normal, or can you do this just using the laptop itself?

Don't tell Dook you have a webcam.

Control + C will copy stuff

Control + X will cut stuff

Control + V will paste stuff

You also should have a right click button next to the touchpad that will bring up the context menu, just like using your mouse.
