Plus, if you let them watch it now, it can be a reward. Tell them to go clean their rooms well or something.
News: Prince pulls his head out his ass in the last moment.
Bad News: Prince wasted too much quality time doing so.
You have those internalized issues because you want to, you like to, stop.

Any age is fine I think, I don't see anything wrong with kids watching, reading, seeing anything this world has to offer ( well except porn of course) as long as aresponsible adult is there to share in and discuss it with the child.

Watch it with him. Maybe you'll like it too. smile
In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular.

My sister and I were 5 and 7 when our mom rented the original trilogy for us. We turned out alright, I think.

i have caravan of courage and the other ewok movie on dvd and my daughter (three years old) loves them!! she'll tell me if she doesn't like a part (like when that big monster guy has the parents in the cage, or when the evil witch woman is being mean to the little girl) and we fast forward through those parts. i'm actually pretty proud of how grown up she is about it. and she hasn't had nightmares about anything yet. biggrin

Hey darlz, what'z worrying you about Star Wars and your little one? hmmm I remember watching Star Wars with my dad when i was five and six and i loved it. But then again i remember seeing Alien when i was about seven and there was this scene where a man gets pulled apart and it's really graphic...lol so i made my cousin come over just to see that part falloff ...my dad was like : cool ... lol I think if anything my parents concern was more of the content of horror vs how close it was to my bedtime lol oh and whether it had "AO"rating...which is now more M+ these dayz.

I let the kids watch anything G and PG only if I've seen it before and know what it is about
Star Wars, I think Darth Vader is a bit scary - definately wouldn't let him watch the last one until he is a lot older

Darth Vader can be scary... nod I haven't seen the last one yet actually, but i'm guessing the horror content is a little intense. Though being a little boy, he may enjoy a movie with a milder horror content...i know i had a thing for horror flickz when i was little!! It freaked me out, but i loved it falloff and to top it all off my parents used to play tricks with me n tell me that Slimer from Ghostbusters flew out of the tv after the movie came on omfg :shakes: ...it was before my bedtime for gawds sakes, actually!! lol Then again, Ghostbusters is no Freddy Krueger hmph! lol
