I go to the clubs because that's where the best looking women are. I don't really like it for the most part. But that's where the prime time women are.

very rarely will I ever go clubbing... and if then it's only because the people I'm with are. I have never really been much for it just the music. I can't stand the club atmosphere and I guess that goes back to alcohol (don't like the effect it has on some people)

I've seen babes at libraries. Just have to go to libraries.

I don't go out to clubs much anymore, but it's mainly because of the people I ususally go with. They're either talking shit behind your back all night, hitting you up for drinks, or getting plastered and assuming that you're going to babysit them and carry them out of the bar.

Once in a while I like to stop into places for happy hour just to bullshit with complete strangers, but thats about it anymore. Most of the time I usually just make cocktails at home.

Plus it seems like some of them have become more stubborn and set in their ways as they get older. When we were younger, we used to go barhopping all over the place and not care. Now its like pulling teeth to get them to go somewhere new. They all have one bar they will go to and thats it, you take them anywhere else and they spend the whole night sulking.

Relate to lots of things in this thread.

I did a lot of clubbing in my 20's - partly because it was a way of meeting guys, mainly because of my mates and the music itself. These days, I just go for the music and a good night out and - if anything else happens - well, that's a bonus.

I still love clubbing but I don't go out like I used to. I much prefer pubs or staying in with friends. When I think of how I used to go out 4, maybe 5, times a week - ! - I don't know how I managed it. These days, if I go out once it kills me - but that was a long time ago.

It's all about the people and the music. If you're out with the right set of friends, it doesn't matter who else is out. And if the music's right, I'm happy. But I just can't get into it if I don't like the music, simple as that.

I never got into the club scene. Being from a small town, I didn't really have any opportunities when I was younger. I went to the one and only club in Rochester but wasn't impressed. I haven't made trips up to Minneapolis for the purpose of going to any. Going to Paisley Park for those late night parties was different, though.

I used to be a big clubber. Every weekend and sometimes three to four times a week when I was a student. I still go but less so now. The crowds have changed in the clubs I used to frequent. I think I'm getting old too

Back on topic: I used to go to clubs every night when I was in my early 20s. I partied like a rock star. Got sick of hangovers, though, and now I'm just too damn old to be acting like that.

Because there's a lot of riff-raff in the public libraries--they'll let anyone with a pulse in--unsightly nerds and all. You need to be more selective. Then go to the area where the "How to have Sacktime Without Making Bad Faces" books are and stalk your prey--I mean wait for a pretty blonde with big boobs to saunter by, looking for a book. Then POUNCE! Ask her if you can help her find what she's looking for. She won't know it initally, but I'm sure once you engage her in the charming repartee such as you display here at the Org, she'll realize you're what she's looking for. And you'll save a lot of money because you won't have had to pay a cover to get into the club or politely weasel out of buying her drinks. Library books are free to check out!
