It's true - I'm packing up my stuff and moving on. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to my old home - I've lived there over five years, and I racked up a lot of memories. But the time has come to see new things, experience new faces, create new memories. It's going to be scary, but you know, life is about change. I really believe that. I believe it so much that I feel confident in taking this risk. I don't know where this move is going to take me, but I won't know until I find out. So yeah, here I go, ready or not, into the wild unknown.


Anyway - I'll be moving two doors down from where I am now.

Summarise that in one word - I'm watching 6 Feet under and can't be arsed to read that.

seriously, it's going to be SUCH a breeze. i live in a studio, so i only have, like, FOUR large pieces to move. the rest can be boxed up or schlepped over easily. i'm really looking forward to the change, but i only have about two weeks to get it all done!

Its just a pain in the ass. I didnt want to leave my flat but the landlord gave us 1 months notice, so we gotta go. I lived with my Ma for 3 months last summer and she drove me crazy! I just have to save up asap and find another place....

same building, lower floor (they're walk-ups), and the unit is in far better repair than my current apartment, which needs some serious rehabbing. i'm happy as a clam with my location and the general layouts of the apartments, so i asked if i could switch when a unit became available. et voila!

i think it's going to be a big move, though not in the way i was hyping it up at the beginning of the thread.

for the last five years, i've been living in a pretty dark apartment, with dark brown and green striped walls and crazy lighting that was done by the person who lived in my apartment before me. i'm moving to a very well lit apartment with plain, freshly-painted white walls. i think the change in surroundings alone will have a huge impact on me. i can't wait!
