~Hugs... and well wishes... stay safe Daniella. But how did you hit a tow truck? I do stuff similar to that often, that makes two idiots, but seriously, I am happy you are ok.
Let me tell you a story... before I head out the door for a hike... A couple of weeks ago... I took my nephew to a AFI concert... and I parked between a square beam structure... and another car. My theory, as I told Joseph... "it's always good to park near a nonparking area and another car... that leaves one less opportunity to be hit by another car parked beside you...", yeah... great theory... <--- (appropriate emoticon placed here) So we enjoy the concert... get back to the car... and as I pull out... the structure is a bit blind sided to my opposite looking view... (to the left) where the cars are coming down from and toward the exit sign. I continue to pull out... and make a turn... momentarily forgetting the damn structure (well, quite honestly, I did not even look) and mind you... my whole freakin theory... is one big joke on me. 
Swipped my damn front bumper against the concrete structure as I turn out... hear this cruuuuunnnnnch, and I stopped immediately. My nephew is just looking as me... like... "Aunt Julie, what did I just hear?" in this low tone look. My freakin theory... , I'm an IDIOT... I started to pull out some more... and decided I did not want to look... but from the look on some people's faces as they walked in front of my car (looking)... made me decide, I better take a look.
 Not good.
And you know what... I did not get mad, I just took a big sigh... my nephew is laughing... and saying... "Aunt Julie, I just don't get you... I just don't get it... what did you just tell me about parking near a structure and another car... and look... (laughing unbelievably) In other words... I am my own worst enemy... I tell you...
I pull into another area to figure out how I can get it back in place... enough to drive on the freeway that is... some guys came over and helped... but were not much help... but I appreciated it anyways. Drove over to my ex's and he bolted it in place... made a few wise cracks... as he knows my driving history... being that... I am my worst enemy when it comes to my car... Cheap piece of fiberglass shit.
I thought this would be worth the laugh... anyone... it's on me. ~Smile. Hugs again... to you. [Edited 8/19/06 8:05am] | |

What a rotten thing to have happen!
Sorry about your hubby's car, but glad that you only received a little bump and bruising. Try to remember that this is a temporary problem. It will be a drag going through the insurance process and getting the car repair (or by the looks of it, replaced), but one day soon it will be like it never happened.
