Nice. I keep wanting to go get some low-top hikers/trail runners/whatever, but then I keep going on hikes where I feel like my boots have saved my azz. . . STILL. . . those look so comfy! These might actually be my next purchase: oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

These might actually be my next purchase: My sister has those. I call them her trilobite shoes. I don't know, they always remind me of trilobites. She loves them though. I like low-top hiking shoes/boots better than the high-tops. I need more freedom in my ankles. I always feel so confined in higher boots. And yes, these are really comfortable, although I haven't actually hiked in them yet. Most of the reviews I read on them, people said that there was no break-in period though and that they never got blisters. Most of the reviews I read on them, people said that there was no break-in period though and that they never got blisters. They totally look like trilobites. No blisters. . . . . . very cool. And they look extremely sturdy. Actually, I got a pair of Montrail boots that don't blister me at ALL, which is a total miracle for me. But they're just so damn clunky. . . they kick ass for kicking steps in snow, and they have saved my ankles from a couple of surprise roots and rocks, but they make it really tough in places where some delicate footwork would be handy. I think I really want some amphibious trail runners (not as amphibious as the keens. . . something in-between) for hikes with wet areas or tricky rocks. oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I've been meaning to tell you that apparently I just hadn't noticed but when I got home to Mpls I saw 'pirate' stuff everywhere. I actually have purchased a black and white striped shirt (CAUSE I LIKE THE STRIPES, NOT CUASE I THINK I'M SOME KIND OF PIRATE) and a black polo with little red skull and cross bones on them (AGAIN, CAUSE I'VE LIKED SKULLS FOR A WHILE, NOT BECAUSE I WANT A PARROT ON MY SHOULDER. For me it would be a new pair of Teva Sandels. They are my footware of choice, and my old pair were about two years old. The old pair begun to stink and lose suport. However I just threw the old pair out yesterday. I've not to ware the new pair yet, and I am feeling a little timmid. Oils....and a Phat White Shirt from a funky Thrift Shop! $11 Bucks! Me too. I had to take part in a huge parade where I work today. Our theme was Pirates of the Caribbean and we've spent months making the float and doing the costumes and all that nonsense. Obviously I was Jack Sparrow/Keef, and although I thought blowing my nose every thirty seconds and coughing up my testlcles would take away from his/their persona, it kinda added to it, strangely. The working class greeting us like homecoming heroes on their grimy, dismal grey streets. But I've walked about twenty miles today through heaven and hell, now I'm waiting on a pizza then i'm going out to drink this town dry and drown this motherfucking bug stone dead. I have no idea why i just rattled that out, I never got any sleep last night.
