The "Learn Finnish" Thread!

Inspired by callthepplwondery83's posts in the Let's Ask FuNkeNsteiN thread, I decided to create a thread dedicated entirely to the learning of the Finnish language. Acting as your teacher, I will translate words or phrases or whatever you wish to know into fluent Finnish. Have fun cool
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I hate to say this cos my boyfriend's half finnish, but I hate the language. I can say "I love you" in Finnish but imo it sounds like it should mean "I hate you, asshole" boxed not that my language is so much better (Swedish). shrug

i will always remember the first time i heard swedish.

i was at disney world with my mother and we were on one of those buses that transport you from the resort to the park and there was this family and, to my uneducated ears, they sounded like the swedish chef from seasame street. as it turned out, they actually were swedish and very nice, too.

for all these years i had thought that they just had the swedish chef speaking nonesense for no reason but it turns out he was actually speaking swedish or at least making swedish-like sounds. eek

i've never heard finnish but i do like swedish.
