Do you laugh or try to move away if someone touches your stomach? I probably am the most ticklish person you'll ever meet. Just one touch of my stomach or side, and I'm doubled over laughing. I hate being tickled because I find myself laughing so hard that I feel like I'm suffocating.

yes, i am very ticklish. my sister and uncle used to try to pin me to the floor and tickle me because i would then do what they termed "the floppy fish."

sometimes I am and sometimes I am not at all

sometimes the mere suggestion or anticipation of being tickled is more unbearable than the actual tickling itself!

when my sister and i were really little (like 4 and 6 years) my cousin, who was a teenager at the time, was tickling us and said he was going to tickle us til we peed our pants. i was terrified that he was really going to make me pee my pants so i told him i wasn't ticklish..... all the while laughing hysterically and doing the "floppy fish." he stopped tickling us.... and it was only years later that i realized i didn't actually fool him into thinking i wasn't ticklish. at the time i thought i was a great actress.

i'm ticklish but i used to be more so.

and i have tickled myself.

Well yes and no, cos its a mind control thing.. being tickled.

So if I dont want to be tickled I can concentrate and not let it tickle me, otherwise I can let go and laugh and enjoy it.

My mate's mother is a trained masseur - she practices the Hawaiian technique, which is supposed to be *amazing*; and costs a fortune - and I was offered a free session. Stupdly, I turned it down. I'm an idiot.

What I do when I'm going to get a massage is I tell the masseur that I'm ticklish and that I need to take some deep breaths and relax before the massage officially begins. I find that it works best when the masseur rubs my back in time with my breathing so I get used to their touch. After that I'm usually fine.

Sometimes there are a few places where I'm still ticklish during the massage but if I can feel it coming on, I find that I can control it with my breathing.
