Peach Cobbler

1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
2 (16-oz) cans peaches in light syrup, undrained
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons cugar
1/4 cup skim milk

Coat a 9-inch square baking dish with cooking spray. Place margarine in bottom of dish, set aside.

Drain peaches, reserving peaches and 1/2 cup liquid. Set aside.

Combine flour, baking powder, and sugar in medium bowl. Add reserved 1/2 cup peach liquid and milk, stirring well.

Pour batter evenly over margarine in dish. Spoon peaches over batter. (DO NOT STIR) Bake at 375 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden.
