That is a cool gift. Any kid would treasure something like that. The difference between jewelry and jeans is that you can usually wear jewelry for much longer! (Unless you lose it) Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

This is normal nowdays. You can't get well-made jeans for less than $150 it seems. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Well, see I've found out that absolutely NOTHING fits me right except the really expensive designer brands for some reason. I have a really hard time finding pants of any sort fit me. I've bought through countless pairs of cheaper jeans that I think fit me, and then after I wear them a couple of times I hate them and they look like crap. They ride up with wear. I'd rather splurge on some that actually really fit well, than spend more money on jeans I just end up giving away. I seem to totally have that problme with jeans, they look ok in the store then after a wear or two, I realize they really don't fit me that well at all. Also, I have shorter legs and a longer torso and I can never find anything 'cheap' the right length. |

I have a pair of AG's that were about that much, and damn if they're not the most comfortable jeans I've ever worn. But my dad didn't buy them for me.
I also like my $40 Gap jeans My Legacy

Moderator | I remember asking my parents for stuff like that!
They always said no and then I'd hate them soooo bad. But it was just because I didn't understand money then, I think you have to pay bills before you realize how silly that stuff is. Hell I feel ripped off spending more than $50 for any kind of clothing now. Rich'll spend that money on stuff and I don't think it looks any better or any different than shit you buy at Marshalls. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

(It was like little wooden animals and their legs broke off) I'd still wear it today though.

At that price, do fries come with that shake (down)? I don't even pay that kinda money for jeans. Dress clothes are a different story. I'll drop a drop a decent coin (or cern in Archie Bunkerville) for those. But for jeans, lately i've been hitting Walmart. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. Buying a kid an almost 200 dollar pair of jeans teaches them nothing. Will they love you less if you don't buy them? If they do, it's a serious problem.
We never got jack shit as kids, we got eveybdoy's hand me downs: I really didn't care because I knew that's all my mother could do. I was and have been in the position to buy my kids whatever they want, but I don't. That is not preparing them for the real world. Nobody is going to give them anything and they are going to have to work for everything you get just like I had to. Damn I could get my daughter's entire back to school wardrobe with 174 dollars.
