I had a problem with yahoo chat a couple of years back, the new version I think it was 6.0 back then did something to my hard drive. First it wouldn't load and after I had the problem with yahoo it all went down hill. It might be a valid scenario, I don't know about the virus but I have heard that some of the pop ups have spyware and that can kill a PC.

more knowledgable computer people can give you particulars, I was just sharing my experience and yes I am on yahoo again pray I hope it doesn't kill my new pc this time.

We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color.

What kind of errors are you getting?

It could just be the program isn't playing well with your sound card and or video drivers.
