I absolutely love Halloween. It is the only holiday I dig. In New York there is a HUGE parade in the West Village--anyone can be in it. My friends and I usually go. It has some of the best costumes I've ever seen. http://www.halloween-nyc....ctures.php

Last year I went with aforementioned friends as Prince, Wendy & Lisa (I was Lisa). I didn't even have to buy any new clothes--I just pulled out my hootch attire from my clubbing days. Our costumes turned out pretty well--even though they had some weird rules about having to wear red & white instead of purple (long story) and insisted on the guitar even though I told them repeatedly it should be a cloud shape for historical accuracy. We still won best group costume at a party we went to, though.


This year I will probably return to my tried and true costume of Holly Golighty (aka Audrey Hepburn from Breakfast at Tiffany's). Not to brag (but I'm going to ), my Holly costume kicks major ass--I have the sunglasses, long cigarette holder, tiara, dress (which was a bridesmaid's dress I dyed black), gloves, the whole 9. The first year I lived in New York I wore it and was walking down St. Mark's Place on the way to the West Village and people were asking to take my pic. Maybe it's lame to use the same costume over again, but I say if you have something that works stick with it.

Ooh, now I'm all excited for Halloween.

I've been trying to figure out this years costume.
I have figured out next years costume and house theme
but can't figure out for this year. I was a killer clown
last year as seen in my profile. I loved that costume.

Should I do a Sexy or scary costume?
