Well, they have a new writer, Lynn Marie Latham, who used to write for "Knots Landing". She likes to use a lot of flashbacks and multiple screen endings. Jerry Douglas was shocked by the storyline, though he knew there wasn't too much John could be doing locked up. He's still willing and ready to work, though. (TV Guide.com interviewed him last week).

One change I do like is the fact that Newman Enterprises and Jabot actually have PEOPLE working in the buildings. PEOPLE actually walk the halls and use the elevators, not just the Newmans and the Abbotts.

What a concept...
