What r your thoughts?

I just watched this tonight excpet my mom cam over at the end and distrated me ...

so ...

I've been a fan of the series since the very first game came out in 1999.
I have been trying to tell people about it ever since, but no one listens, and now that they make a movie, everyone thinks they're the authority on it.

Regardless of how annoying that is, it'd be interesting to see the thoughts on the movie of people who've never played any of the games. It's definately not something for the ignorant, I Know What You Did Last Summer masses. It's a thinking person's experience.

I think they did well, and the changes they made from the first game to this movie were delightfully appropriate in making it it's own story and experience.

I rented it last week. I was expecting something good, so I was suprized to find out it was really actually good. As far as "video game" movies goes, often you shouldn't expect much, and it should be noted I've never played that game. However the movie was mostly a stand alone production. Unfortunally it didn't have a happy ending.

Never seen it, but did love the game 'The Room'. Very atmospheric and genuinely scary.

I found it "Okay"

It was definately a rental for me. The effects were pretty good though.

I saw it in theatre with my manfriend. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
