has she finally risen from the dead?

disbelief I for one thought that Jon's mother killed her. I'm sorry for misjudging her. Her entering her daughter in contests in which the contestants are tarted up, still doesn't mean that the mom was a bad person. I hope the dad has closure, but it will never bring that little girl back. what a tragedy

it seems to have but they still have to try him but with his dna matching the stuff around jonbenet, he'll more than likely be found guilty. he looks creepy as all hell. he told reporters that the murder was an accident and that he still loves jonbenet. they need to throw the book at him and fry his ass up.

I also thought the family - the parents or their son - has something to do with her death. Now I feel bad - but I also hate that I was manipulated by the media

If this guy they caught did do it - the horrible pain that this family must've endured not only losing a little girl so tragically, but wrongfully being accused of her death on top of it and remaining tabloid fodder for years afterwards. disbelief Still, they paraded her around so young in beauty contests which of course sexualize these little girls to an extent and unkowingly attracted this creep into their lives.

The facts are not all in yet - he's confessed but his ex-wife says she doesn't think he could have done it because she was with him at the time of the murder -and he also says weird things like he picked her up from school and took her home - but it was Christmas Day when it happened, wasn't it?

Ugh. It's all awful. sad

his confession was startling in his saying it was an accident. He accidently put a wire around her neck, and used a paintbrush to twist and make it tighter. and the accident was....where?

i don't really believe he did it. his ex-wife says she was with him at the time the girl was murdered, has almost no connection to the family, including not even being from the same state, and crazy people confess to stuff they didnt do alll the time.

wait and see what the DNS results are. i am almost willing to bet it wont match

also, there are NUMEROUS flaws in his confession. he claims that he drugged her, yet no traces of drugs or alcohol could be found in her bloodstream.

he also refuses to say how he got into the home, which has always been one of the bigger mysteries in the case. he wont say because he doesnt know, i am willing to bet.

everyone is rushing to believe him. i frankly, don't.

why the confession? I'm not sure to believe what he's saying either, but why would he confess anything at all?

To many inconsistencies in his story, and the stuff that was released when she died.

Poor little girl! I do hope they can find some justice for this child. sad

here's some really good specific points of contention with his confession:

statements made by Karr to Bangkok authorities seem to have raised more questions than they have answered. According to Thailand authorities, Karr said JonBenet's death was accidental. He said that he drugged the six-year-old and then had sex with her.

But Karr's statements do not coincide with other known facts:

The autopsy report of JonBenet said no drugs were found in her system.

Although the autopsy indicated she had been vaginally penetrated by an object (reportedly a paint brush handle), there was no indication of penile penetration.

The cause of death was determined to be strangulation, by a garrote made from a paint brush and a piece of rope, which is not consistent with an "accidental" strangulation.

Karr's ex-wife, Lara Karr, told KGO-TV in California that Karr was with her and their children at the time of JonBenet's killing on Christmas night 1996.

so almost nothing in his confession matches up. the guy is just a total whack-job, i am willing to bet. wait and see how the DNA matches up with that that was in her underwear and under her nails. i am almost certain this is a false confession.

and i might add that he was with his now ex-wife and children that night several states away in Alabama

I never believed the parents had anything to do with it. I am not sure about this guy, he does seem weird enough to want all the attention that is being given to him. we will have to see.

there was a show on about 2 years ago about a guy who used to dress up like a ninja and look in people's windows, later there were sightings of this guy inside people's houses. the man they interviewed said the ninja guy was weird and creepy, he said when he heard about JBR he told the cops about this guy but they didn't do anything. The ninja guy later died, don't remember how.
the cops just focused on the ramseys' all the time, never once really looked at the real evidence and the possibility of another killer with any seriousness at all.

sad for all involved, I kinda hope it is this guy though beacause then they may have some iota of peace.

I don't believe a bunch of law enforcement types got it wrong, when they focused on the Ramseys all those years.

For the new suspect to have been far away from the scene of the crime is odd. Why confess, when you have an easily verifiable alibi?

Secondly, the crime occurred in an area of the house that someone with a knowledge of the home's build and remoteness would have known about -- that doesn't sound like a stranger.

And, John Ramsey ran for public office in 2004? omfg Out of touch with reality, maybe? Another reason I've never stopped suspecting JonBenet's family.

it would be more hurt for the family if the confession was false, but Karr has been emailing a college professor who has done 3 documentaries exhonorating the
Benet's as the killers...Karr began emailing the professor, and in his 3 or 4 years of correspondence, he's given information never released to the public

But, why would he make this type of confession and face the possibility of spending the rest of his life in jail? It just doesn't make sense...

Plus, that guy has to be gay...
