what makes what he does "country", though? his hat?
it sounds like adult contemporary to me. it doesn't sound like johnny cash, george jones, loretta lynn, etc etc. it's like, peabo bryson could sing the same songs, but because he's black and doesn't wear a cowboy hat, it's r&b all of a sudden.

Mmmmmm he has a twang. And the content of a lot of his songs. Yanno, if you sing You remind me of my Jeep, your R & B. If ya sing about a Ford Truck (I prefer Chevy) your country.

I love all those songs, red rag top, live like you were dying. My daughter's first concert was Tim and the dancehall doctors here in austin. That band is tight, the show was awesome. he did his songs and a whole bunch of 70's AOR, great show. he showed pictures of faith and the girls, faith with no make up is still beautiful I love me some tim he's my fave country artist. closetcountryfan edit We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value no matter what their color. To the room with all the Faith Hill pictures. "The first time I saw the cover of Dirty Mind in the early 80s I thought, 'Is this some drag queen ripping on Freddie Prinze?'" - Some guy on The Gear Page

I love that song. they play it every time I go to the movies. Hey, luv, do you know who sings the country song that has the lyric, "you're the prom queen, i'm the girl next door..."? or something like that. it's this girl who doesn't get noticed and she's comparing herself to another girl who gets everything.

It's arrogant of him to ask that question, seeing as how when he's lonely he goes home and bangs Faith Hill
