French A
Spanish A Geography A Economics B Maths B Fucking shit. Well perhaps I use language too strong, since I needed As in French and Spanish for my university course, and I got really high As - full marks in several of the modules. Geography was easy so ignore that one. However, Maths came as a real shock as I was expecting and predicted an A - but it seems M1 let me down. I was 10 marks of getting an A for that. 10 marks. So frustrated, I really thought that subject was not a problem. I was a 13 marks off an A in Economics as well. Again, I'm really irritated by this, mainly because I knew Economics was my weak subject and worked so fucking hard for it. I'm frustrated... right now I'm not sure if Oxford will accept me for interview, even though I'm going for French and Spanish and have the requisite As in the subject, the fact that I don't have straight As is a real hinderence. I'd retake my B-graded subjects no matter what, but right now I'm contemplating not applying for university and taking a gap year to sort this out. I'm so angry at myself..I can't express it. I thought I'd get one B, and I thought I'd get it in Economics, but I'm so annoyed by Maths (and economics too)...because inevitably the "did you try hard enough?" questions will come and I know I did, but try convincing people who doubt you. | |
