Two that come to my mind are Schindler's List and Citizen Kane. I really don't understand why I haven't seen the latter yet.

Movies that you MUST see, before you die:

Sunset Boulevard: The ending is worth the whole movie.

Casablanca: Greatest script ever.

Citizen Kane: The first really avant garde, weird film making, with amazing, script and acting. The number one movie for a reason.

North By Northwest, the best Alfred Hitchcock has to offer and loads of fun, actually. the crop duster scene and the gunfight on Mount Rushmore are scary and breathtaking.

Spellbound: Never enough Hitchcock; see all the Hitchcock films, in fact. Classic suspense, crime thriller. The Salvador Dali dream sequence is to die for.

Schindler's List: It is your moral duty to see this. Will humble you.

Double Indemnity: surprising, great crime thriller. Another classic.

Taxi Driver: Strange, great martin Scorcese masterwork. Are you looking at me?

I have seen most of the movies already listed, but one i have still not seen to this day (and still do not want to see as it just does not appeal) is Titanic. Am i the only person not to have seen this movie? Do i win a prize???

i still get frusterated when i think that that piece of shit beat out pulp fiction, the shawshank redemption, four weddings and a funeral, and quiz show for best picture in 1995. all 4 are SUPREMELY better, ESPECIALLY pupl and shawshank, which are probably 2 of of the best 10 films to come out of the entire 90s decade.
