i haven't seen princess bride. or if i did, i wasn't paying attention to it. the parts i've seen were cute, but i don't get what the big deal was over it.

same with sixteen candles. i feel like i've seen enough bits and pieces from it to say i've seen it, but i've never literally sat down with the intention of watching this movie.

I haven't seen bunches of stuff. Lawrence of Arabia, the Rocky movies, Top Gun, Saturday Night Fever, the Godfather movies, Citizen Kane, Silence of the Lambs. . . fuck, name a must-see and I probably haven't seen it.

Once again, Hollywood felt compelled to place a black character in a "truth telling spiritual role"--only Forest Whiticker's role was even worse than that. He played a Robber with a strong conviction of good and bad.
Kind of like Ingrid Chavez's character in Graffiti Bridge being an "Angel from Heaven", but she was trying to decide who to fuck--Prince or Morris, and drunk off her ass in half the scenes to boot.
