In the 5th grade I hade 2 go 2 school in all pink. Someone threw there red clothes in with the white wash. If it couldn't get any worse the clothes were in the dryer 2 long and they shrank about 3 sizes. If I didn't look like Elton John on crack than I don't know what does

I went to Catholic school, and we had to wear chocholate brown polyester pants, and bright yellow shirts. I used to cry when my mom wanted to stop at the store on the way home from school because I was embarassed to get out of the car with that outfit on, LOL.

In the 6th grade, I had on this Pink sweater over a multi-colored green striped turtle neck with hunter green jeans, striped socks with these brown Doc Marten type shoes. I trusted my mama's judgement on this. They called me Rainbow Bright because I was all over the place looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

it wasn't an outfit but a hair style
I had a ponytail on top of my head that was purposely made to stand straight up. I was in the first grade. To this day, I have no idea what my mom was thinking.

I fucking hate it when the org freezes after I hit the submit button, and I have to type all my shit over again. But nevermind. It’s free.
SO anyways, here are the two embarrassing things my mum did to me. And people, I sincerely am letting you know it scarred me. 1) Shoes. The most expensive pair of shoes I EVER was bought by my mother cost less than twenty dollars, and a hole wore through the big toe area on my right shoe only 2 months after owning them. She would buy me shoes clearly too big for me, so that I would grow into them and she would only need to buy me 1 (yes only 1) pair a year. My shoes would always, always have holes in them before the end of the year, and even after begging her for a new pair, I wouldn’t see any new pair until the next school year. 2) No Deoderant - she refused to by me deodorant, cuase as a kid growing up in her rice patties, she never did herself. So I would go through the school year, trying desperately to hide my oder. I would try everything trick in the book: frequent showers, baby powder in the armpits , and taking cologn samples (you know those little flat cotton swaps scented with cologne?) out of fashion magazines. When I was 14, I received money during the summer for cutting a neighbors yard (it was 30 bucks which was a lot at the time), and I finally went out and stocked up on deodorant for the entire year. When I was 15, I finally got a job at a Yogurt bar, and a Chinese Resturant, and started making a lot of money for a kid my age. I totally revamped my clothes, and bought nice shoes. Till this day, I am very protective of my nephews. I ensure they’re shoes are always nice, and that they have no tears in them. It’s like an obsession with me. It’s a wonder I jazzed on a Smurf Blanket

I had a pair of light green corduroy pants that went very nicely with my green velveteen body shirt with a huge collar. Anyway, the pants got a hole next to the zip in the front in my first week at school, so my mum patched it up with a cigar shaped navy blue patch mortifying. In my school photo I am wearing it, desperately covering the patch with my hands in my lap.

dude... you got one new pair shoes in the fall... pretty standard i think?? i remember in junior high starting to play sports so i needed a second pair better than the ones we always to get at woolco... i think they were $35 - that was outrageous and they didn't let me forget how much they cost lol but i hated cords so dreaded winter when i would be made to wear my sister's hand me downs

I'd sometimes borrow my dad's white cotton pinstriped shirt for art class and stuff, then I even wore it to a party once... bad idea
