Indeed it does. I kind of cheated to get here, though. redface

I took a loan out of my 401k to pay off all my credit card bills and now they are all officially paid and sitting in my drawer. So I'll still have money coming out every month, but I won't even see it (it'll come straight outta my check) and I'm paying myself back all that interest intstead of giving it away. Plus gaining interest on the ING account for my new savings that I have started to take me to Thailand next year.

woot! dancing jig woot!

ING rocks. Has anyone sent you a email link to join? If not and if nobody you like better volunteers lol I can do it and I can make the $10 and you will still get your $25 (if you start with $250).

We recently opened one with a small amount of like $2,500 and after realizing that we were making almost $10 a month in interest compared to like maybe 50 cents through our bank we are going to dump the rest of our savings into it plus whatever wedding money we receive (although I requested no gifts so it probably won't be much).

not if you die before they can get paid off. neutral

school debt is worth it, though.

school debt is cool debt geek and if you are going to be incurring that kind of debt you want to start with as clean a slate as possible. nod
