Do you eat when you are hungry..or

do you have set meal times when you eat even if you're not really hungry?

In the daytime about lunchtime I get hungry, so I eat, in the evening i eat anytime between 6 and 9, depending on how hungry I am. Some days I dont feel hungry at all but I eat as I dont want to keel over.

some of both ... when we have down days we have beautifully set meals cooked with love and intention

when we have busy days we go with the flow and eat when and where we need to as we need to

peace

A bit of both. nod When I get hungry, I have to eat. I go a bit quiet - not realising what it is - then, suddenly, it's "I. Have. To. Eat. Now". It creeps up on me.

The only time I have any regular eating habits is during the working week. If I come to work without breakfast, I have to have it. I always make sure I have lunch. Then I'll have something when I get home. I think it's a routine thing - plus, I'm so desperate to get out of work, I'm thinking of my lunch as soon as I get in. lol It just breaks up the day.

During the weekend, though, I can sometimes go entire days without eating. confused Not all the time but if I'm busy or rushing about, it's only later in the day - when I realise I haven't eaten - that I'll have something. And then I'm ravenous.

I eat when i'm hungry, but sometimes I tend to eat when I have nothing else to do, or can't find anything else to do, or when i'm depressed. I've been working on this a lot lately, and i'm proud to say that I haven't eaten at any fast food establishment in 2 weeks....and if i feel the need to have to have a snack i grab some baby carrots or a piece of fruit instead of potato chips. Also i've been drinking my 8 glasses of water more frequently in the past two weeks as well.....let's hope I can keep it up!

I think when you are in a family situation, husband and children, that you have set meal times otherwise it's fairly random as you said.

Hi, it sounds like you've got a fairly good routine there, except for the not eating all day, which happens to us all. Forcing yourself to eat when you really dont feel like it is no fun though. lol

I'm like one of those large sea mammals who is constantly in motion and all the while eating, sweeping along the ocean like a vacuum sucking in plankton and whatever else I can get just to sustain my massive body weight.

What do you call those?

It's hard not to just reach for a bar of chocolate (for me) lol. But I am eating more fruit. Chocolate for breakfast is drool when you dont want to eat food.

I've been bringing healthier snacks to work so that I'm not tempted by the chocolate bar. lol

ive been eating healthier and last night i was bad and got a pizza ( i know bad me) ive been good onmy diet and figured i'd treat myself, bad fuckin idea because my body wasnt used to that shit and man did i pay for it.. so no i dont eat when im hungry because sometimes i forget to even eat.

Its okay to treat yourself now and again, everything in moderation is a good rule, but its not easy to stick to. I generally eat healthily (apart from choclit) which is not a huge deal as i dont have it everyday.

i eat when i'm hungry. usually i'll buy some snacks for later when i get hungry in the middle of the night. i dont like breakfast, if i do eat breakfast its something like a banana and a small milk or sometimes a donut. lunch is really big for me. some days i dont eat dinner at all just little snacks here and there. but there were days where i was so hungry that id have another big sandwich 3 hours after lunch and then ate dinner like an hour later.

a little of both... breakfast is usually on the run of a morning but I do need it to start my day. lunch is usually around 12/12.30pm-ish and by the time 5.30pm comes I'm starving again so it's dinner time... that's it for the night then.

but if I get past a certain stage of being peckish - if it turns into hungry - then I will eat something.

I eat on a schedule, but it's only because I work a set schedule throughout the week.

My downfall though it late in the evening because I'm usually up till the wee hours of the morning working on freelance stuff.

I have the most random times I eat. I didn't eat "dinner" last night until 4 a.m I'm off today, so I didn't go to sleep until 10:00 this morning.....woke up about 1 p.m. I'm kinda hungry now.....so I'll go fix something to eat.
