Don't you hate when you travel somwhere...

And forget a few necessary things? I forgot some toiletries, like shaving cream and my razor, and hair gel. This upset me very much. I haven't shaved in a week, and have a quasi beard. I also have to steal my cousins hair gel to comb my hair properly and he uses Suave hair gel so it gets all flaky and white and makes me look like I had dandruff, so I have been wearing hasts lately. I gotta by a damn razor today cause I look like a Jersey street performer that has the guitar case open for tips, doing horrible renditions of folk songs and bob marley covers who wonders why he only has two dollars of tips in 5 hours! (its cause you have a quasi beard that is thicker in some patches than others like mine is right now, your using 1 dollar hair gel that makes your hair flake, and you can't sing!) anyway any of you ever forget crap on trips.

I have a spreadsheet checklist of things to check.

I use it everytime. I have to travel for work, and it gets very expensive, let alone impractical (depending on where and when I fly in) to look for replacements.

Aside from the usual hygene products, I've had to quickly find belts, socks, shoes (wacky), and the like.

Keep a spreadsheet. It works.

I'll never forget that one holiday with the fam , and me being the one forgetting my passport when we had to check in at the border .
So my dad went all the way up back home for it .
Phew , that was a lousy beginning of a supposedly cool trip .

Heiress

the only real essentials you need while travelling are passport, tickets and credit card...

the little stuff you need when you arrive can be bought (thus the credit card).

that is our family travel mantra.

Darling you're going have to revise that spreadsheet for when you fly . Those airport security chicks will be chomping at the bit to strip search you after they examine your hair products.

You are still allowed to check such items just not carry them on.
