Romeo and Juliet. Baz Luhrmann's version. Not sure if that counts though.

I highly recommend "Two Hands" (made in 1999 - starring, amongst others, Heath Ledger and Bryan Brown). This movie's got everything: excitement, action, drama, humour, a little bit of romance, good acting and a clever script.
It sure had me on the edge of the seat from start to finish, and all in all I'll give it a 5 out of 6. Well, lucky-lucky us. Lucky-lucky-luck.

"The Boys"
Scary stuff and reflects lower-class white reality here (our equivalent of white/trailer trash).

Head On.
I saw it years ago on BBC Choice and my eyes nearly popped out of my head. It was the first time I'd ever seen an erect penis on the BBC. In fact, I think it was the only time. I love Australian cinema. It's very story-oriented.
