Write you own version of this song

Song: Somewhere That's Green Lyrics
from Little Shop of Horrors.

This wishful little song expressed the wish for a dream-like domestic life as seen on TV and in magzines. What is your ideal?

Well, if not, he's got inner beauty
And I dream of a place
Where we could be together at last

A matchbox of our own
A fence of real chain link,
A grill out on the patio
Disposal in the sink
A washer and a dryer and an ironing machine
In a tract house that we share
Somewhere that's green.

He rakes and trims the grass
He loves to mow and weed
I cook like Betty Crocker
And I look like Donna Reed
There's plastic on the furniture
To keep it neat and clean
In the Pine-Sol scented air
The orginal:

Somewhere that's green

Between our frozen dinner
And our bedtime, nine-fifteen
We snuggle watchin' Lucy
On our big, enormous twelve-inch screen

I'm his December Bride
He's Father, he Knows Best
Our kids watch Howdy Doody
As the sun sets in the west
A picture out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine

Far from Skid Row
I dream we'll go
somewhere that's green.

And I dream of a hair salon
Where we could be together at last

A kayak of our own
A paddle of real cork board,
A grill out on the patio
Disposal in the sink
A washer and a dryer and an ironing machine
In a tractor house that we share
Somewhere that's green.

He rakes and trims that mop he calls a hairdo
He loves to mow and weed his balls
But a cock like Betty Crocker
And a book he likes to Read
There's Cristo on the Mont
To keep it neat and clean
In the incense scented air

Okay, I'm not sure I did it right.

He's a real nowhere man,
Living in his nowhere land,
Making up his "Something Big" threads for nobody,

Doesn't have a point of view,
that isn't just too liberally skewed,
In P&R his threads go nowhere and the mods know not what to do,

Nowhere man, please listen,
Your threads are hippy lovin',
And your tractor probably runs on a mix of bio-disel, tree bark, and wesson.
