Quitting has a lot to do with first having improved self-esteem (and really knowing what that is in itself can be confusing which all the crap that the media thinks is "good self esteem"), so I was letting her know she doesn't need to do that to herself.

As a side note, everything is energy and there is good energy and toxic energy.

Smoking is not only a physical pollutant, it is a spiritual one.

Smoking makes you addicted to the physical aspect of life and the longer you smoke, the more you forget there is anything else.

No one is really a "smoker" and almost everyone is addicted to SOMETHING. It just depends on what kind of addiction you asked for, unless you can beat that affliction in your mind. Everyone has the potentional to do this.

Every smoker knows they are doing themselves harm, so it's a choice how much longer you want to gamble with that form of harm. Sorry to get serious, but I think it's a good thing as a former smoker to show others that there is more than day to day, smoke to smoke... life is longer and less urgent than most smokers think, if you let it be.
