1. I went to Winona State University in Winona, MN to become a photojournalist.

2. I changed my major to Math Education and got my teaching license, but never got a chance to use it.

3. I've watched every episode of "Dawson's Creek". boxed

4. My oldest brother, Shawn, died a year before I was born.

5. My son Shawn is named after my oldest brother.

6. My wife Rachel had a miscarriage on Christmas Day of 1998.

7. When I was in grade school, I wanted to be a cartoonist.

8. I was held at gunpoint by the Winona police for kidnapping (it was all a big misunderstanding)

9. I nearly committed suicide 16 years ago this month.

10. The first concert I went to was a Weird Al Yankovich concert. razz

11. I think this is one of the best threads ever...I am particularly fond of it.
12. I don't like to look people in the eyes when I speak to them all the time; I think it's too confrontational and don't want people to think of me that way.

I used to wear leather boots with a two-inch heel that made me look 5'7" at that time, got them out again just a few days ago! My new sandals are pretty neat too, they make me look at least 5'8".

hmmm Now if only some of my ex's were just a tad bit taller.

Hmmm 10 things ya'll don't know about me...


1. Several things about me have already been mentioned by other people.
2. My favorite number is 3.
3. I honestly feel that I do not have any friends.
4. I find it hard to have a favorite anything. (Color, flower etc) I love many things
5. I'd rather be cold than hot.
6. If I could do anything in the world I don't know what I'd do.
7. I use to be more giving than I am today.
8. I have a hard time being mean...even in jest.
9. Yet I have a very dark side and a very dark sense of humor.
10. I work very hard to stay focused on how blessed I am.
