Sticking to my new eating habits. It's really freaking hard some days. Other days it's easy, though. Overall, I just wanted to feel better. And I do. So that keeps me going

Yes. I have a few amazing friends that I know will pick me up if I fall. One in particular has shown me utterly unconditional love over the years and its really inspired me in a way. I never knew people could be that giving.

Luckier? no. Worse off? I don't know. Individuals of course habe their ups and downs. And in the US if you bring race into the picture, well, forget it. Collectively I still don't think women are where they need to be in terms of equality. But we're getting there. We are.

Boy howdy it's different. For me personally anyway.

There's really no easy way. You just have to be very patient, very flexible and always expect things to be the opposite of what you're used to. The other day I literally went into a supermarket to buy some chocolate, thought it would make sense if it was close to the checkout, therefore immediately went to the far back of the store and oh yes - there it was.



I've always handled my problems on my own. Maybe it's time to change that a little bit. It's something I've been thinking about lately.



In Japan they're worse off in most cases, but sometimes when I see them on their all-week shopping sprees funded by their husbands' hard-earned salaries, it makes me wonder. In Sweden, I'd definitely say that women have it easier than men. The pendulum of equality has swung over to their side and male-bashing is considered politically correct. Overall in the world, I'd say men have it way easier than women.



Extremely different. Most of last year was spent in Canada while most of this one has been spent in Japan. It's like completely different lives.

What do U consider really close? My friends are my family and I surrround myself with them, but I don't 100% trust ALL of them, so I'll go by that. I'd say I have 8 or 10 friends that I'll trust with anything.

My family situation has been the biggest challenge for me this year. I have a parent with extreme health problems, and her parent is terminally ill and is expected to die any day. There have been lots of emergencies and dramas this year, and I even got sick for a couple of months myself. How have I dealt? I don't know. I'm not really sure. I just build a space for everything that's going on and make sure people understand.

I'd be a fool to say no.

I can't remember who my first puppy love was. The earliest I remember was in junior high, is was this one jock guy with really freakishly awesome legs. I don't really think about him, no. Other than the legs, he was pretty boring.

The death of my aunt. She was only 49 and died of breast cancer. Sometimes, when I'm really sad about it, I talk to my mother but other than that I don't know how to deal with it except to keep on living.
