Give a brother some advice!! You know I have this friend Robyn. Sweetest of souls really. We have known one another since freshman year in college, but we never dated cause she had a boyfriend or I a girlfriend. Just before I was gonna get married (last summer, but a series of unfortunate events kept this from coming into fruitation) she broke up with her man. After words they got back together. I had just broken up with my person of interest. Now this young lady constantly calls, bitching about her man and has said I wish that there were more guys like you. I dig her, but don't want to hate on her man cause hes a good bloke. She actually called me today to see how my trip was and proceede to tell me about her miserable relationship which I abruptly ended by saying I'll send a postcard. What does a man do in this situation? Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Maybe she just needs a sounding board, but it's up to you if you want to be it or not. If you have feelings for her, then this might not be such a great idea she might never end up leaving this guy, but to you it would sound like it's gonna break up any minute and get your hopes up, she might just need to vent, get it off her chest, and then continue with the relationship! | |

She made this comment when she was single! Not with her man. i think she is venting frustration like anywoman does. I mean her problem is she wants to get married, and they live together, but my whole theory which I tell her all the time is why by the cow when you get the milk for free. Gotta make em want it!
