However, spiritual warfare such as is seen in the books of Daniel, the gospels and Revelation is a very real thing. And deliverance from the residue of that involvment sometimes takes time, especially for people whose homes and ancestry have known witchcraft.

The more I read the Bible, the clearer I see that God never intended for humans to mess with some things. Jesus said the enemy comes to kill, steal and destroy. Sorcery and witchcraft open up a door for him to do just that. | |

I've never seen weddings and birthdays receive the same probitions from God in the Bible, however. That's the distinction I'm drawing. | |
