Dude...It's a cat/dog... So my friend showed me this very heart-felt (and long) letter from a customer from her work. Said customer was requesting a refund for not attending a conference that she paid 4 due 2 her unwillingness 2 leave the side of her ailing cat. She goes on and on in the letter about she is "a single adult and the sole support 4 both herself and her cat".
I don't really understand people like this. It's a pet. I get that U love it and it provides warmth and companionship. It's a pet. They don't live as long as people. I had a dog 4 11 years. I loved him. he was totally a member of the family and all that jazz. He died a few years ago and it was very sad 4 a little bit, but I moved on and got on with my life. It was a dog. U gotta keep things in perspective. I've got a few friends who had pets that died and even years later r in mourning 4 these animals. They go 2 support groups. They cry day and night. It seems slightly pathetic 2 me. Am I just a heartless bastard or just the xception 2 the rule? Listen to me on The House of Pop Culture podcast on itunes http://itunes.apple.com/u...d438631917

Some people treat their animal as seriously as if it was a member of the family, which in a way it is. Ohh purple joy oh purple bliss oh purple rapture! REAL MUSIC by REAL MUSICIANS - Prince "I kind of wish there was a reason for Prince to make the site crash more" ~~ Ben |

seems to me that the letter is more about getting a refund
she might not even have a cat perhaps her husband was sick but she knew she'd get more sympathie if she said it was her cat, lol. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
