When bad things happen to bad people Do you do a silent happy dance or are you genuinely upset for them?
Perplexing huh? Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

I'll count that as a mmm, a little of both. i don't think it's healthy to gloat TOO much over someone else's misfortunes, even if they deserve it. nothing wrong with a smug, satified little smirk for a few seconds, though.

Nope, gots to stay humble. I don't know what might lie around the corner for me, so I'm not going to waste my time celebrating someone else's misfortune. A brief smile, perhaps.

I'm more of a redemption type of personality...as in if someone or many someones do me wrong and then one by one get their comeuppance...that makes me do serious.... He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

I agree. The cool part is being there and watching it in the front row! Got to love it. Like my boss giving me hell and then begging for my help. That was beautiful. It is a very touching and rewarding experience for me! Wanted: Virtual Sugar Daddy to help me buy stuff on Farmville and move up the ranks. Use of Viagra not authorized. Get your two minutes and go!

It is a very touching and rewarding experience for me! Hell Yeah!!....as one of my former Sergeant Majors put it.... "Castration at dawn, with mountains of hot buttery popcorn for the show..." ....are we evil for deriving such pleasure from that? He was like a cock who thought the sun had risen to hear him crow.

Karma is not to be underestimated
My Mum passed away in 1998 but for quite some time before that she had been seeing this man who I will not dignify with a name... he made the last months of her life terrible by stalking, slashing the tyres of friends cars and generally just harrassment. he is the only person I can genuinely say I hate with a passion... a few months after Mum passed away friends told us they saw him and his wife dining in the same restaurant as they were and he had had a bad accident and lost one of his eyes. I know it's evil but the first thought that came to me was "karma, baby, karma" again, the only person I've ever thought truly evil of...

Perplexing huh? as much as I'd like to dance, I've learned that when I resent someone for something they've done, I'm better off wishing for them, the same things i wish for myself.

I've spent quite some time thinking about this, and whether or not I believe in karma. Yeah, I like it when bad people get what's coming to them, no matter how bad it might be. I'll even help dish it out.

My mama didn't raise no contrarians, but I really don't believe in bad. I believe in rogue neurons, maybe. Bad things, bad people, good things, good people, it's a bit silly if you had hubble's glass eye. Human perspective is bloody odd indeed and there's a slice of wet tissue between the killer and the monk.
Gk Chesterton once said something like 'The poet only wants his head in the clouds, but the logican seeks to get the heavens in his head. And it is his head that splits.' This means fuck the logic and morality. Let's dance on the grave of that faldecrest fuzziness.
