Why do bisexuals....

...think they have it hard as gay people coming out? That shit KILLS me. When I'm telling a "bisexual" about how hard my coming out was, and they say "Yeah, I went through the exact same thing when I told my mom I'm bisexual." That shit boils me the fuck up. My mom WISHES I was bisexual. Please. I don't get it. Can ya'll explain this shit to me?
Yes, I've been up all night and i've had a little to drink so what. This shit iz on mah mind.

Whether you're bisexual or gay, whether or not it's hard for you to come out will depend upon you, your family, your friends and your specific situation.

It ain't harder if you're gay. confused
But Marge! What if we chose the wrong religion? Each week we just make God madder and madder.

Oh yes it is.
Have you ever come out as a gay person before? The night I told my mom she told asked me if I was bi and I told her no, then she said "Well, it'd be easier for me if you were." Boy, If I would've known that my sexuality was an inconvenience for her....rolleyes

It depends. If you're bi-sexual, hate yourself for it, and your parents are hardcore white supremacists who denounce homosexuality as being at one with Satan and would try to kill you if you ever showed the slightest interest in someone of the same sex...

...then you may have a harder time coming out than if you are a gay person who is comfortable in his or her own skin, and has an extremely liberal family.

I use extreme examples of course, but you see the point, no?

No, I don't.
What does being a white supremacist have to do with sexuality? I know gay racists. But they claim they're not racist because they know me, You know, the one black person a racist claims to know to prove they're not racist? Yeah, that's me. I have never known a bisexual to hate themself. In fact, I've never heard of that in my life. Actually, your whole post isn't making a slice of sense.
Now, is there anyone who can answer my question? Where's Meow85 at?

Oh, good grief. If you can't understand that point, then it is quite obvious why your hypothesis is so erroneous. neutral

You have no right to say what's hard or not hard to do in regards to other people.

Everyone's experience is different and unless you are in their exact shoes, you really have no idea how it is for them.

It's best to just talk about your own experiences.

I'm speaking from a certain POV though. I just want someone to explain it to me. I'm not asking to be condescended to or attacked.

i believe in judging other people harshly because i have a high grade of moral righteousness which i feel supercedes any "life experience", which really just gets in the way of my judgment making anyway.

I didn't ask why if it is or isn't harder to come out as gay or bi though.
I just want to know why bisexuals think they have it just as hard as us.
No pun intended.

You've made it pretty clear that you think gays have it harder. I think that's a silly assumption, but ok, that's not what you are wanting to talk about.

Hopefully someone will be able to answer your question as to why they think "they have it as hard".
