Dammit some guys really get me riled!!!

I popped in to see my sis on the way home from work and a mutual friend of ours was there. She is a lovely girl but had a tough upbringing and because of some other things in her life has some self image issues. However she is still pretty fine despite the fact she can't see it. She is a great mum and all round lovely person.

Anyway while i was talking to her my sis was upstairs putting Iris to bed her 9 yr old son says "mummy if i tell you that you are thin will you buy this for me"
I was flabbergasted and said "you have a lot to learn about women son"

She then goes.....

"oh he gets it from his Dad.....the other day he told me if i get down to a certain size (bear in mind there is nothing of her) i will buy you a boob job!"

I mean WTF how offensive is that on so many levels.....ffs some people

mad

it only works in her house if she lets it. I feel there's a communication problem between her and her husband, and to include the kids on it is awful

He already knows about women. He knows that how they look is very important to them. He will find that out even more when he grows up.

(In my nicest non agressive voice) Your opinion on my friends is not needed, you have already made your point, which IMHO is unfounded and insensitive. Please refrain from besmirching my thread any further.

To women. Women would not have issues with weight or their looks if their looks were not important to them.

And you find this with mostly with women. You rarely see guys with issues like this. If someone didn't like how I look i would tell them to go F**k themselves. I would not develop issues about it.
