i think pretty people are that way too, only replace competitiveness with "having to do make any form of effort".

Years ago, my dreamgirl just so happened to be one of the most vapid women I ever had met. she looked like a black/mixed Uma Thurman. And, had some of the prettiest eyes... Men are such fools, aren't we?

there are some pretty people who are very engaging, just to be fair. i think it's more about a person's self image than what someone actually looks like to everyone else. i've always said attractiveness is 90% confidence, 10% looks. i think it's true.

i can't disagree with Angst, Dani. Look at Angelica Huston..she's not gorgeous, but she's very attractive because she's confident. Paris Hilton is borderline ugly (there's a fine line between the two) but she's so gosh darned confident in who she is, plus all her sycophants tell her so. I could give you lots more hollywood examples of people who are attractive, because of their confidence.
