Me?? I cant start the day unless I have had 4 slices of wholewheat toast and Marmite!!!

well i woke up an hour ago. i had a klondike heathbar. not good. but very good

when i'm at work and have enough money i usually have farmer's eggs (scrambled eggs with cheese, potatoes and ham in 'em) with lotsa hot sauce and a bottle of juice...at home it's usually a bowl of cereal (if i have food in the house).

Toast or:

Peanut Butter & Jelly or:

Banana, Frozen Berry & OJ smoothie

and

COFFEE!!!

Tea, cant stomach food in the early morning.

Sometimes I have porridge if I feel hungry which is rare at that time.

For me, breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I usually have about 4 egg whites, couple of sausage patties, yogurt(mixed with raisins), and grape(or orange) juice.

Sometimes I give myself a treat and have a Turkish breakfast with feta cheese, fresh bread, olives ( the good ones ), sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, eggs, sucuk, pastirma, honey and/or tahina with pekmez, and lots of olive oil with red chilli powder sprinkled into it all chased by strong black tea from small glasses without handles ( socalled tulip glasses ).

And sometimes I have a German style breakfast with rolls, toast, cheese, strawberry jam, nutella, German coffee, orange juice and eggs.

And sometimes I have my "American" moments and enjoy an omelette with orange juice, coffee, toast with peanut butter and jam ( not jelly ) and orange juice , occasionally with hash browns if I want to go to the gym. Sometimes followed by a protein shake.

It´s very rare but sometimes I also like toast with baked beans, English style tea , scrambled eggs, jam , and a bit of cereal.

Ha! No, I just miss it. I haven't had anything that devilishly sweet in months. We used to eat it here all the time. It was best on Eggo waffles.

And it has nothing to do with noodles or hotsauce.

This morning I had Tofurky deli slices on a piece of toast. And a peach. And coffee. Fairly typical.

My favorite is a breakfast biscuit from this little cafe near me. . . a fresh biscuit with a slice of broiled tofu, mustard, and a little bit of gravy.

I´ve only seen it once in America , at Cub Foods on Snelling Ave in St.Paul MN , and it looked a bit different than the German version...much lighter in color and sold in a glass instead of a jar.

I prefer Nusspli by Zentis though, tastes less sugary.

So, what kinda peanut butter person are you ? Jif or Skippy ?

I like the Dutch Pinda Kaas these days, discovered it in an Asian store....less sugar than Skippy and Jif .....but I LOOOOVE the texture of Skippy even though Pinda Kaas is probably healthier.

Many American tourists buy lots of Nutella jars when they´re over here so I guess it´s a bit different than the US version.

Any Nutella and peanut butter experts in here ?
