Anyone See The Movie "Oldboy"??... That is one f**ked-up story...lol
It was weird, though, because the movie is actually rather funny for the first 90 minutes...funny, suspenseful, puzzling...then the last 20 minutes lose all humor and just go for twists galore... Anyone else see this? geez, can I make anyMORE mistakes?... [Edited 8/5/06 18:51pm]

I watched it about two months ago. This is a perfect example of the kind of movie I love the most; you can't imagine where they are going with the plot throughout, and you're left completely disoriented.
I only have a passing knowlege of Korean cinema, but I would love to see more movies like this.

Moderator | Got it from Netflix yesterday...haven't watched it yet. In spite of the cost of living, it's still popular. |

Yeah, that had me grimacing too. When I first saw that scene, my reaction was "my god, that has to be the most realistic digital effect ever filmed." Naive westerner that I am, it didn't even occur to me that he'd actually eaten a live squid.
