How would you spend a $250 amazon.com gift certificate?

I got one for my 30th birthday back in June, and I still haven't figured out exactly what to buy. Either way I don't think I'll spend it all in one go, although I don't want to place too many separate orders either since that would increase the shipping costs.

A few items on my list so far:

Schultze Gets The Blues (DVD)
Mirrormask (DVD)
Samantha Fox - All Around The World (DVD)
Photographer's Market 2006 (book)
Tosca - J.A.C. (CD)
Gotan Project - Lunatico (CD)

What would you get? hmmm

Mirrormask was awesome, dear. We've got it on our collection, along with about 200+ other DVDs. It'll keep growing when we have the money to add....

Books, books, books! I have so many I want it's not even worth my time to start listing....
This one's for you.

Cool! It seems to have flown by under the radar, because I remember looking forward to seeing it and then bam! - it was suddenly on DVD...

Books, books, books! I have so many I want it's not even worth my time to start listing....

Come on, do it. I know I should get some books. Amazon's supposed to be an online bookstore after all, so it would be silly if I bought stuff for 250 bucks and didn't get a single novel.

Really? They have clothes on there too? I had no idea.

How would you know exactly which size to get? Do they have the kind of clothes that you could try on in the store but that's cheaper to get off of amazon or what's the deal?

That's nice to hear, since I saw it at Vancouver Film Festival a couple of years ago and was the only one in the audience who seemed to really enjoy it. Some people even booed. confused

How lame. I guess people can't deal with silence and just taking in the visuals of a film.

I loved the cinematography. I also really felt for Schultze.

Of course I do! I'm actually a nice girl.

Had I actually witnessed those incidents I would have been mortified, however, watching the vids, knowing that they were ok in the end was definitely giggle worthy to me. The only thing that would have made it funnier would have been if it had happened to me.

Are you saying I'm heartless, Supa?? sad
